Inventory Replenish in the Panama Canal
Hi Everyone
SFA creator Tyler here. I’m writing with a quick blog update.
First, I want to say thank you to our first 1000+ customers. THANK YOU. All the product specs and social media hype mean nothing without making happy customers. We are so proud of each of our 5-star reviews, so much so we urge everyone considering the shoes to read the reviews from other customers first. People are going on the longest rides of their life, with zero pain, right out of the box. Races are being won. Personal goals are being accomplished. It’s hard not to get misty-eyed reading about everyone’s triumphs and enjoyment.
“These shoes are THE MOST COMFORTABLE cycling shoes ever. Nothing pinches, nothing squeezes. I didn’t even know this was possible in a cycling shoe.”
The main reason for this blog is to write and let everyone know that an inventory replenish is incoming and is expected to be delivered soon. Today, March 9, the ship carrying our container is crossing the Panama Canal and will soon deliver to us on the East Coast. Logistics timelines can be challenging to predict precisely, but the passage of the Panama Canal shows another important hurdle is now in arrears and we expect to take delivery in the next 1-2 weeks.
Not only does this mean we’ll shortly have more stock of our popular Smoke (white) colored shoes, but also we can now announce we’ve expanded our sizing to include sizes 37 and 36 for our female customers. While selling through our first batch we gathered enough data from customers to see our sizing needed expanding to make our shorter customers fit properly, especially for our female customers.
We’ve been having growing interest from a variety of wholesale accounts, bike shops, bike fitters, and more. Soon we’ll be launching a stockist tool so everyone can search out local stores where they can go try on shoes in person before purchasing. If you’re a shop owner, please get in touch, we’d like to get you set up and running.
“Where’s your off-road / gravel shoe??”
This is our #1 request by customers. And while we do think our first shoe rides great with SPD pedals, we agree the tread on the bottom needs a different solution to improve the off-road walking and clipping in. We’re working on future shoes now and will make announcements in the coming months. Please make sure you’re signed up to the Newsletter mailing list so you’re the first to be notified when new products become available. We know what people are looking for and we believe what we’re making is what you’re all looking for.
Thanks for the ride of a lifetime. Please write with comments, questions, and share the fruits from your adventures. We’ll pick some of our favorites to highlight in our future media.
